利用火山口形态和排列模式反演大同盆地第四纪应力方向OA
Inversion of the Quaternary Stress Orientation in the Datong Basin Based on Morphologies and Arrangement Patterns of Volcanic Craters
大同盆地位于山西地堑最北部,第四纪时期经历了复杂的地质构造运动,并伴随着岩浆活动.构造应力的特征能否揭示大同盆地及山西地堑系第四纪的构造演化尚不明确.本研究围绕这一问题展开,基于火山口形态与分布反演区域构造应力,探讨其构造动力学意义.因为火山口的形态以及排列模式可以指示区域构造应力场的方向,本文通过遥感图像解译、野外地质调查、统计分析等方法,基于优化火山口排列调查模型,对大同火山群进行分析,得到其较为详实的形态信息等,反演出大同盆地第四纪区域构造应力场.结果表明大同火山群主要排列走向为北东向,综合震源机制解等方法得到的第四纪区域构造应力场,证实大同盆地第四纪最大水平主压应力方向为60°.此反演方法建立在火山岩脉与最大水平主压应力方向一致的构造控制机制之上,具有地质过程可解释性.结合遥感解译与统计分析,该技术路径在地质推断中具备较强的科学性与适用性,可以为其他火山地区的构造应力场研究提供借鉴.
The Datong Basin is located at the northernmost part of the Shanxi Rift System and has experienced complex tectonic movements during the Quaternary period,accompanied by magmatic activity.The extent to which the characteristics of the tectonic stress field can elucidate the Quaternary tectonic evolution of the Datong Basin and the Shanxi Rift System remains unclear.This study aims to address this question by inverting the re-gional tectonic stress field based on the morphology and distribution of volcanic craters and exploring its geody-namic significance.Since the morphology and alignment patterns of volcanic craters can reflect the orientation of the regional stress field,this study used remote sensing image interpretation,field geological surveys,and sta-tistical analysis.Using an optimized survey model for crater alignment,it analyzed the Datong Volcanic Group to obtain detailed morphological characteristics and related geological information,which is then used to invert the Quaternary regional tectonic stress field of the Datong Basin.The results indicate that the dominant alignment of the Datong Volcanic Group trends northeastward,and when combined with focal mechanism solutions and other methods,the inverted Quaternary regional tectonic stress field confirms that the maximum horizontal principal compressive stress in the Datong Basin is oriented at 60°.This inversion approach is grounded in the structural control mechanism whereby volcanic dikes tend to align with the direction of maximum horizontal principal com-pressive stress,thus ensuring geological interpretability.By integrating remote sensing interpretation with statis-tical analysis,this technical approach demonstrated strong scientific validity and applicability in geological infer-ence,and provides a reference for studies of tectonic stress fields in other volcanic regions.
