Teaching design for the integration of transcriptome analysis into the course of medical genetics
针对转录组学技术在医学遗传学教学中存在的技术流程复杂、与临床诊断结合不足等挑战,文章以精准医学为导向,构建了以转录组学为核心、涵盖基础技术—临床应用—教学整合的系统化教学体系.该体系完整覆盖从数据质控、表达定量到差异分析与功能注释的标准分析流程,并结合遗传性疾病诊断案例与公共数据资源开展教学.通过模块化设计、可视化工具与阶梯式项目进行实施,旨在强化学生对转录组学原理的理解及其在遗传性疾病机制研究与临床诊断中的应用能力,为医学遗传学教学的前沿性与实践性整合提供了可操作的框架.
There are challenges of complex technical workflows and insufficient integration with clinical diagnostics in the teaching of transcriptomic technologies for the course of medical genetics.To address these issues,the authors develop a teaching framework,which is oriented to precision medicine and centered on transcriptomics.This framework encompasses three interconnected dimensions:fundamental techniques,clinical application,and teaching integration.It comprehensively covers the standard analytical procedures,from data quality control and expression quantification to differential analysis and functional annotation,and it also incorporates real-world diagnostic cases of genetic disorders and public genomic datasets available into teaching practice.With modular design,visualiza-tion tools,and stepwise project-based learning,the framework aims to deepen students'understanding of transcriptomic principles and enhance their ability to apply these techniques to both mechanism research and clinical diagnosis of genetic diseases.The proposed model provides a practical framework to integrate the leading edge and practicality of medical genetics teaching.
