Based on the theory of ecological aesthetics,this paper systematically explores the value reconstruction of"bamboo as a substitute for plastic"in terms of ecological aesthetics,cultural translation,and artistic innovation.By integrating theoretical interpretation with typical case analysis,it reveals the inherent compatibility between bamboo materials and ecological aesthetics,and outlines its innovation pathways from three dimensions including material and craft innovation,translation of design language,and sustainable design practices.The study shows that"bamboo as a substitute for plastic"is not merely a substitution of physical materials,but a redefinition of the relationship between humans and nature;with its negative carbon and fully biodegradable characteristics,bamboo transforms ecological health into a foundation for aesthetic experience,activates bamboo cultural and ecological wisdom through contemporary expression of traditional craftsmanship,and serves as a living medium connecting nature,culture,and daily life in public space art creation,daily aesthetic transformation,and rural cultural revitalization.The study suggests that"bamboo as a substitute for plastic"is evolving from a purely technical replacement to aesthetic reconstruction and cultural construction,promoting ecological civilization to move from an abstract concept to a tangible,practical,and sustainable lifestyle by evoking emotional connection with nature,thereby providing a solution combining natural wisdom,artistic thinking and local culture to global plastic pollution.
