Operation Management and Practice of Copper Smelting Circulating Cooling Water System
循环冷却水系统在铜冶炼工艺中发挥重要作用,但因为不是冶炼主工艺往往被忽视,存在水质不达标而造成管路腐蚀、堵塞和冷却水压力、流量不足等问题,存在水冷元件烧损,高温熔体遇水爆炸事故风险.本文从循环冷却水腐蚀、结垢机理入手,先把水质调整到合格范围,再通过水力计算合理分配水量,安装温度、压力、流量检测设备,将检测结果引入DCS控制系统,设置报警参数和连锁进行实时监控,成功解决问题,取得明显效果.
The circulating cooling water system plays an important role in copper smelting process,but it is often overlooked because it is not the main smelting process.There are problems such as pipeline corrosion,blockage,and insufficient cooling water pressure and flow caused by substandard water quality.There are also risks of water cooling component burnout and high-temperature melt explosion accidents when encountering water.This article starts with the corrosion and scaling mechanisms of circulating cooling water.Firstly,the water quality is adjusted to a qualified range,and then the water quantity is reasonably allocated through hydraulic calculation.Temperature,pressure,and flow detection equipment are installed,and the detection results are introduced into the DCS control system.Alarm parameters and interlocks are set for real-time monitoring,successfully solving the problem and achieving significant results.
