张謇于1895年筹办南通大生纱厂.实业救国、百姓生计、实业与教育共生是其办厂的初心缘起.其办厂获得显著成就,开创了近代民族工业先河,构建了区域经济体系,并实现了教育与实业的协同发展,为南通区域经济社会发展和文明进步作出了巨大贡献;而其最后遭遇失败原因众多,外部环境重压、内部管理与决策失误、战略规划有局限是主要因素.张謇办厂的事功、理念及其成败之因,具有深远的时代警示价值和历史镜鉴意义.
Zhang Jian prepared for the establishment of Nantong Dasheng Cotton Mill in 1895.His original intentions were to save the nation through industry,ensure people's livelihood,and realize the symbiosis of industry and education.His factory made remarkable achievements,pioneered modern national industry,built a regional economic system,and realized the coordinated development of education and industry,making great contributions to the economic and social development and cultural progress of Nantong.The ultimate failure was caused by multiple factors,mainly the heavy pressure of the external environment,internal management and decision-making errors,and limitations in strategic planning.Zhang Jian's practice,ideas,and the causes of his successes and failures have profound historical reference and contemporary value.
