Taking the Eagler EP300 portable full-hydraulic drilling rig as the research object,an analysis was made on the demand of water conservancy projects in Guangxi for drilling equipment and the characteristics of this re-searched drilling rig.Combined with the application of this drilling rig in the key projects such as Guangxi Water Resources Allocation Project around Beibu Gulf,Longjiang River Valley Irrigation Zone Project,and Yongbei Irriga-tion Zone Project etc.,the adaptability of this full-hydraulic drilling rig in the survey of water conservancy projects in Guangxi was verified,providing practical basis for the upgrading of boring exploration technology in water conser-vancy projects of Guangxi.
