天目山针阔混交林树冠重叠关联因素变化特征OA
Variation characteristics of factors associated with canopy overlap in the coniferous-broadleaved mixed forest of Tianmu Mountain
研究天目山针阔混交林林木树冠重叠关联因素及其动态变化特征,旨在揭示针阔混交林中林木间的生态关系和内在机制,为针阔混交林可持续经营提供理论依据和技术支持.基于 2011、2023 两期样地调查数据,通过标定林木树冠生长空间、判定树冠重叠关系、构建树冠重叠系数,量化分析林木树冠重叠株数比例,探讨林木树冠重叠系数在林木胸径、树高、冠幅、材积,以及树种对、林分密度和林木生产力等多个维度上的关联性及动态变化特征.大多数林木树冠间存在重叠,其株数比例由2011 年的 77%提高到 2023 年的 88%,随着林分生长树冠重叠程度有明显的提高;中小径级、中等树高与冠幅、小材级的林木树冠重叠系数较大,并随着林木生长明显增大.林木树冠重叠系数与其胸径、树高、冠幅、材积等个体大小的关联性低且变化不大.林木树冠重叠系数与林木树种关联性较大,白栎、山矾和锥栎等树种重叠程度较高,而杉木的树冠重叠程度较低.林木树冠重叠系数与林分密度有着复杂的关联性,随着林分生长由相关性不强变化为显著正相关.林木树冠重叠系数对其生产力产生负效应.
This study investigates the influencing factors and dynamic characteristics of tree crown overlap in the coniferous-broadleaved mixed forest of Tianmu Mountain,aiming to elucidate the ecological relationships and intrinsic mechanisms among trees,thereby providing a theoretical foundation and technical support for the sustainable management of such forests.On the basis of the plot survey data in 2011 and 2023,we delineated the tree crown growth space,determined the crown overlap relationships,and constructed the crown overlap coefficient(COC)to quantify the proportion of trees with overlapping crowns.Furthermore,we analyzed the correlations and dynamic characteristics of COC across multiple dimensions,including tree diameter at breast height(DBH),tree height,crown width,timber volume,species pairs,stand density,and tree productivity.The results indicated that crown overlap was prevalent among most trees,with the proportion increasing from 77%in 2011 to 88%in 2023.Moreover,the crown overlap enhanced as the stand developed.Trees with small to medium DBH,moderate height and crown width,and low timber volume exhibited higher COC values,which increased notably with tree growth.The correlations of crown overlap with DBH,tree height,crown width,and timber volume were weak and remained relatively stable.The tree crown overlap exhibited significant species-specific associations,with higher overlap observed among species such as Quercus fabri,Symplocos sumuntia,and Quercus spp.,while Cunninghamia lanceolata demonstrated relatively low crown overlap.Crown overlap showed a complex relationship with stand density,which transitioned from a weak correlation to a significantly positive correlation as the stand developed.Furthermore,crown overlap exerted a negative effect on forest productivity.
