The new generation of AI is expected to have an unprecedented impact on productivity,mainly by expanding scope economy and increasing knowledge productivity.The improvement of knowledge productivity enhances the creativity of new industries and breaks through the limit of stock industries' scope economy.The new generation of artificial intelligence has thus broken away from the simple upgrading of the digital economy based on the scope economy,and developed into a new-quality production and a new intelligent economy.As a new industrial organization mode in the era of artificial intelligence,"artificial intelligence+"must not only achieve industrial quality and efficiency,but also change the innovation paradigm,improve knowledge productivity,and enhance the creativity of new industries.With the overall goal of developing new quality productivity and intelligent economy,"artificial intelligence+"follows their respective action mechanisms,and involves eight development directions such as intelligent core industries,stock industries,social livelihood and government affairs,new industries,finance,knowledge production,AI governance,and international cooperation.The temporary technological advantages of artificial intelligence do not guarantee the ultimate success of new quality production and intelligent economic development,while the advantages in product verification of artificial technologies brought about by rich industrial ecosystems are equally important.The development path of AI with Chinese characteristics is entirely feasible,only if the end goal is kept in mind at start,the application orientation emphasized,the product verification advantages made full use of in the rich industrial ecosystem,disruptive innovation promoted,and the shortcomings in the technological ecosystem overcome.There is an urgent need to promote the reform of social livelihood and government management systems to safeguard the development path of artificial intelligence with Chinese characteristics.
