Dear Editor,G ranular corneal dystrophy type 2(GCD2),an autosomaldominant corneal stromal dystrophy[1],is exacerbated by corneal trauma,which is known to induce the transforming growth factorβ(TGF-β)gene and the transforming growth factor β induced(TGFBI)gene[2].
