As the core component of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),classical prescriptions carry profound historical,philosophical,ethical,and aesthetic connotations,serving as a vehicle for the cultural soft power of China.Its contemporary value is reflected in contributing to national health,promoting international cultural exchanges,and driving the development of the TCM industry.At the same time,the current development of the soft power of classical prescriptions faces challenges such as difficulties in modern theoretical interpretation,controversies over the standar-dization of clinical application,and barriers to international communication.To address these issues,strategies on clas-sic prescriptions are proposed,including innovating the discourse system,strengthening education in colleges and universities,utilizing digital technologies to empower the learning and application of classic prescriptions,inno-vating cultural works and building cultural facilities,and improving policy-driven international dissemination system.These strategies aim to enhance the cultural soft power of TCM classical prescriptions,fostering their inheritance,innovation,and international dissemination.
