基于中西医临床病证特点的糖尿病周围神经病变动物模型分析OA

Objective:Based on the clinical disease characteristics of diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)in both Western medicine and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),this paper summarized the existing animal models of DPN,so as to provide references for future DPN model research and clinical drug development.Methods:Literature related to an-imal experiments on DPN was retrieved from China National Knowledge Network(CNKI),Wanfang,VIP,PubMed,Web of Science,and other databases.Relevant indicators and data were analyzed.The existing DPN animal models in China and abroad were categorized according to the clinical disease characteristics and modelling methods of Western medicine and TCM.A systematic evaluation was conducted to determine the clinical relevance of these models and select the ani-mal model for reference.Results:The existing DPN models include spontaneous,chemically induced,surgically induced,and genetically modified models.The modelling methods are diverse,with rats being the most common experimental ani-mals.An analysis of the clinical relevance of DPN models shows that the relevance of these models to the clinical charac-teristics of DPN in Western medicine is average,while their relevance to TCM is relatively low.Additionally,the assess-ment indicators of DPN models are mostly based on Western medicine.Conclusion:Existing DPN models are mostly based on Western medicine,lacking models incorporating TCM syndromes.The assessment indicators are too limited,and Western medicine treatment has shown unsatisfactory results.Given the potential advantages of TCM syndrome differenti-ation and treatment,developing DPN models that integrate both clinical disaster characteristics of TCM and Western med-icine is essential.Such models can better reflect the clinical pathological characteristics of disease and provide references for further research on DPN models and the development of DPN drugs.
