This paper systematically summarizes the clinical experience of Chief Physician GUO Wei in applying the meridian Qi(气)regulation method,aiming to establish an acpuncture clinical diagnosis and treatment system that is grounded in classical TCM theories and features distinct characteristics.Through long-term clinical practice under the guidance of Chief Physician GUO,combined with classic TCM works such as Huangdi Neijing(《黄帝内经》),Nanjing(《难经》),Mai Jing(《脉经》)and modern research literature,inductive analysis,refinement and comparative studies were carried out.The study considers that the meridian Qi regulation method is a novel acupuncture diagnosis and treatment system guided by the TCM healthy Qi theory,with the"combination of pulse condition and symptoms"as the core diagnostic method and"determining treatment based on pulse condition"as the key therapeutic principle.Different from the traditional acupuncture mode that relies on local acupoint selection or fixed channel-following acupoint compatibility,this method accurately distinguishes the deficiency-excess state of the affected meridians via the Cun-Kou pulse(寸口脉).Based on this,it systematically integrates and applies multi-dimensional and synergistic Qi regulation therapies such as"Qi resonance","drawing Yang(阳)from Yin(阴)/drawing Yin from Yang","Zang-Fu(脏腑)viscera collaterals communication"and"extraordinary meridians Qi regulation",forming a dynamic and precise diagnostic and treatment path of"pulse differentiation-treatment principle formulation-acupoint selection".Its core innovation lies in the synergistic application of pulse-guided precise syndrome differentiation and multi-dimensional Qi regulation strategies.Clinical practice has shown that this method has the characteristics of rapid onset of action(especially immediate or short-term significant effects in the treatment of pain disorders),broad applicability,and high safety.For complex cases with suboptimal outcomes from traditional acupoint selection or refractory pain disorders involving multiple meridians,systematic Qi regulation can often achieve significant therapeutic effects,demonstrating distinct clinical advantages and good clinical application value.
