The British Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship is a pre-service teacher training program led by employing schools and collaboratively participated in by higher education institutions,targeting postgraduates and aiming to help participants obtain qualified teacher qualifications.It covers the processes of application,admission,training and evaluation,and features strict apprentice selection,flexible training modes,leadership of employing schools,standardized implementation procedures and a sound evaluation system.As an impor-tant path for pre-service teacher training in the UK,the mature practical experience of the British Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship has important reference value for the cultivation of postgraduates majoring in voca-tional education in China.Based on this,China should improve the admission mechanism for postgraduates majoring in vocational education,innovate the collaborative education training mode,perfect the multi-party participation guarantee mechanism,and construct an evaluation system with clear indicators and multi-party participation,so as to provide teacher support for the high-quality development of vocational education.
