Breeding and Application of Rice CMS Line B3A with Ideal Plant Type and Blast Resistance
B3A 是西南科技大学水稻研究所以两系不育系 Y58S 为母本,与三系保持系广抗 13B 进行有性杂交,经多代选择和测交选育而成的不育系.该不育系具有配合力好、中抗稻瘟病、产量高等特点,其所配组合B优2928、B3优丝苗、B优33于2020-2023年先后通过国家和四川省农作物品种审定委员会审定;B优343于2025年通过四川省农作物品种审定委员会审定.
B3A is a novel rice cytoplasmic male sterile(CMS)line developed by Rice Research Institute of Southwest University of Science and Technology.It was derived from a sexual cross between the two-line sterile line Y58S(female parent)and the three-line maintainer line Guangkang 13B,followed by multiple generations of selection and test-crossing.This sterile line is characterized by good combining ability,medium resistance to rice blast,and high yield.Hybrid rice combinations bred with B3A,namely B You 2928,B3 You Simiao,and B You 33,were successively approved by the National Crop Variety Appraisal Committee and Sichuan Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee from 2020 to 2023.B You 343 was approved by Sichuan Provincial Crop Variety Appraisal Committee in 2025.
