秀山鸡种质特性及产业发展路径研究OA

The Xiushan chicken is a locally indigenous chicken breed unique to Chongqing,characterized by medium-small body size,strong tolerance to extensive feeding systems,high resistance to stress and disease,and superior meat and egg quality.It has been officially included in the national list of livestock and poultry genetic resources.This paper systematically reviews the breed's origin,morphological characteristics,production performance,and meat and egg quality traits.Based on the current status of industrial development,it analyzes the achievements and major constraints in germplasm conservation,breed multiplication,standardized farming,and industrial chain extension.The results indicate that while notable progress has been made in the conservation and industrialization of the Xiushan chicken,challenges remain,including insufficient investment in germplasm conservation,uneven distribution of multiplication farms,sluggish adoption of standardized farming practices,and underdeveloped deep processing and brand competitiveness.To address these issues,this paper proposes strategies such as strengthening germplasm conservation capacity,optimizing the layout and management of multiplication farms,accelerating the adoption of standardized farming,and promoting the extension of the industrial chain toward higher value-added sectors.These recommendations aim to provide scientific support for the effective conservation of Xiushan chicken genetic resources and the high-quality development of its industry.
