重庆市畜牧科学院系公益一类畜牧科研事业单位,成立于 1951 年,是国家生猪技术创新中心牵头建设单位,主要开展动物遗传育种与繁殖技术、动物营养与饲料科学、兽医与兽药科学、畜产品贮藏与加工技术、畜牧养殖环境与工程技术、牧草育种与草地生态等研究与示范推广工作,承担畜牧业科技成果转化工作,开展畜牧科技的合作与交流等.该文主要从历史沿革、目前概况、主要研究方向及进展、未来展望等方面对其进行简要介绍.
Chongqing Academy of Animal Sciences is a public welfare-oriented research institution in animal husbandry established in 1951.As the leading organization for the National Center of Technology Innovation for Pigs,the academy focuses on research,demonstration and extension in animal genetics and breeding,animal nutrition and feed science,veterinary and pharmaceutical sciences,livestock-product storage and processing technology,livestock production environment and engineering,forage breeding and grassland science.It is also committed to the commercialization of animal-science achievements and for scientific cooperation and exchange.This paper provides a concise overview of its history,current status,principal research directions and progress,and future prospects.
