浅析木质素在近现代机制纸劣化过程中的作用影响OA

A Brief Analysis for the Impact of Lignin in the Deterioration Process of Modern Machine-made Paper

相较于传统手工纸,我国馆藏近现代机制纸呈现出严重的脆化、发黄及机械性能下降状态,该类劣化现象与制浆过程残留的木质素密切相关.为深入理解近现代机制纸劣化机制,本文围绕木质素结构及其引起纸张劣化的作用机理,简要梳理近现代机制纸早期生产技术及制浆漂白工艺发展历程,重点分析木质素对纸张物理强度及化学劣化的作用影响,特别阐述在化学试剂、温湿度、光照等环境因素影响下,木质素氧化降解产生显色基团及酸性基团,此类衍生基团继续引发新一轮酸化和氧化反应,致使纸张持续劣化黄变的作用历程.

Compared with traditional handmade paper,modern machine-made paper in Chinese collections exhibits severe brittleness,yel-lowing,and loss of mechanical strength.These deterioration phenomena are closely related to the lignin residue from the pulping process.To gain a deeper understanding of the deterioration mechanism of modern machine-made paper,this paper reviewed the early production technologies and the evolution of pulping and bleaching processes.It focused on the structure of lignin and its mechanism in causing paper deterioration,specifically analyzing the impact of lignin on the physical strength and chemical degradation of paper.Furthermore,it elabo-rated on the process by which,under environmental influences such as chemical reagents,temperature,humidity,and light,the oxidative degradation of lignin produces chromophores and acidic groups.These derived groups then initiate a new round of acidification and autoxida-tion,resulting in the progressive deterioration and yellowing of the paper.
