角膜塑形镜与离焦框架眼镜对单眼近视儿童双眼眼轴增长影响的对比研究OA

Objective To compare the effects of orthokeratology(OK)lenses and peripheral defocus modified specta-cles(PDMS)on binocular axial elongation in children with unilateral myopia.Methods A total of 67 children diagnosed with unilateral myopia between January 2023 and January 2026 were enrolled,including 38 in the OK lens group and 29 in the PDMS group.In the OK group,the myopic eye was fitted with an OK lens while the fellow eye was observed.In the PDMS group,both the myopic eye and the fellow eye were corrected with PDMS.Axial length of both eyes was measured at baseline and at 3,6,and 12 months after treatment.Results At 12 months,there was no significant difference in axial elon-gation of the myopic eyes between the two groups(OK group:0.07±0.13 mm;PDMS group:0.12±0.14 mm;P＞0.05).However,the mean axial elongation of the fellow eyes at 12 months was significantly greater in the OK group than in the PDMS group(0.33±0.16 mm vs.0.10±0.10 mm;P＜0.001).Conclusions OK lenses and PDMS show comparable efficacy in controlling axial elongation in the myopic eyes of children with unilateral myopia.PDMS can effectively suppress axial elongation in the fellow eye,whereas OK lenses may accelerate axial elongation in the non-myopic eye.
