Molar-root incisor malformation:clinical strategies for diagnosis and treatment
磨牙牙根-切牙发育畸形(molar-root incisor mal-formation,MRIM)是一种牙齿发育异常疾病,临床主要表现为磨牙牙根、前牙牙冠近颈部发育异常,其不仅会影响前牙美观,还会引起患牙发生牙髓根尖周病变等临床问题.目前,MRIM的病因尚未明确,临床上应根据病例情况制订个性化诊疗方案,进行口腔多学科综合协作的序列治疗.文章详细阐述MRIM的病因、临床与影像学表现、组织学表现、诊断与治疗方法,以期为临床诊疗提供参考依据.
Molar-root incisor malformation(MRIM)is a dental development anomaly,primarily characterized by devel-opmental defects in the roots of affected molars and the cervi-cal region of anterior tooth crowns,which not only compromise anterior esthetics but also lead to clinical complications,such as pulp and periapical diseases.Currently,the etiology of MRIM remains undetermined.In clinical practice,personal-ized treatment plans should be developed for each case,involv-ing sequential treatment through multidisciplinary collabora-tion.This article provides a comprehensive overview of the eti-ology,clinical and radiographic characteristics,histological features,diagnostic criteria,and management strategies for MRIM,aiming to offer evidence-based recommendations for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
