Advances in preparation techniques and applications of biodegradable micro-and nanofibers

随着环境保护与可持续发展需求的增强,可降解微纳米纤维凭借优异的生态性能和结构性能,在多种领域展现出广泛应用前景.本文系统综述了可降解微纳米纤维的几种基体材料特性及其降解机制,以及4种微纳米纤维制备技术:熔喷纺丝、相分离纺丝、离心纺丝与静电纺丝,重点分析各工艺的原理、优势及适用材料类型.最后进一步总结了可降解微纳米纤维在高效过滤、组织工程及食品包装等关键应用领域的性能表现与面临的挑战.未来研究应聚焦于材料环境适应性提升、成本控制及工艺规模化,以推动其在实际生产和临床中的广泛应用.

Driven by the urgent need for environmental sustainability,biodegradable micro-and nanofibers have emerged as promising materials across diverse sectors due to their tunable morphology,high surface-to-volume ratio,and eco-friendly degradation profiles.This review provides a comprehensive overview of several biodegradable polymer matri-ces,and discusses their degradation mechanisms under various environmental conditions.Four key fabrication techniques are critically analyzed:electrospinning,melt-blown spinning,centrifugal spinning,and phase separation spinning.For each method,the underlying principles,process advantages,material compatibility,and limitations are analyzed to guide technology selection based on application requirements.The performance and current challenges of biodegradable micro/nanofibers are further evaluated in three high-impact application domains,including high-efficiency filtration,tissue engi-neering,and food packaging.Despite significant progress,barriers remain in scalability,cost-effectiveness,and environ-mental robustness.Future research should prioritize the development of energy-efficient,solvent-free processes,hybrid material systems with balanced degradation-performance profiles,and standardized protocols for real-world deployment.Addressing these challenges will accelerate the transition of biodegradable micro/nanofibers from laboratory innovation to industrial and clinical adoption.
