城乡居民食物消费结构变化引致的耕地足迹及其启示OA
Cultivated land footprint caused by the changes in the food consumption structure of urban and rural residents and its enlightenment
为了解居民食物消费结构变化引致的环境问题,利用耕地足迹模型,对中国1981-2021年城乡居民各类食物消费量引致的耕地足迹进行测算,并比较分析4种不同食物消费情景下的耕地足迹强度.最后,预测2030、2035和2050年中国居民在4种情景下食物消费引致的耕地足迹.结果表明:1)居民食物消费结构正由以粮食为主的单一型食物消费结构转向以"粮、菜、肉"为主的多元型食物消费结构;城乡居民的食物消费结构差异在逐渐缩小,但与膳食指南推荐的食物消费结构差距仍然较大.2)居民食物消费结构变化引致的耕地足迹强度呈现稳定期、衰减期和加速期的阶段性特征,城镇和农村之间的耕地足迹强度差异呈现出先减小再不断扩大趋势.3)通过比较4种不同类型的食物消费情景,膳食指南推荐的食物消费结构引致的耕地足迹最少,动物型食物为主的消费结构引致的耕地足迹最多.在指南推荐的消费情景下,预测2030、2035和2050年中国居民食物消费的耕地足迹分别为0.853亿、0.838亿和0.769亿hm2;在动物型食物消费为主的情景下,食物消费的耕地足迹分别为1.678亿~2.251亿、1.648亿~2.211亿和1.512亿~2.029亿hm2.未来,虽然中国人口仍将呈下降趋势,但随着城镇化发展,居民膳食结构不断升级,耕地可持续利用仍将面临巨大挑战.
To understand the environmental problems caused by changes in the food consumption structure of residents,this study used the cultivated land footprint model to calculate the cultivated land footprint caused by various food consumption of urban and rural residents in China from 1981 to 2021.The cultivated land footprint intensity under four different food consumption scenarios was analyzed.Furthermore,the study projected the cultivated land footprints attributable to Chinese residents' food consumption under these four scenarios for 2030,2035,and 2050.The results show that:1)The food consumption structure of residents is changing from one single food consumption structure dominated by grain to a diversified food consumption structure dominated by"grain,vegetables and meat".While the consumption gap between urban and rural residents has gradually narrowed,a large gap still remians compared with the food-consumption pattern recommended by the dietary guidelines.2)The cultivated land footprint intensity exhibits three distinct phases,which are stabilization phase,decay phase,and accelerated expansion phase.The disparity in cultivated-land footprint intensity between urban and rural areas shows a trend of first narrowing and then widening again.3)By comparing the four different types of food consumption scenarios,the food consumption structure recommended by the dietary guidelines produces the least cultivated land footprint,while the animal-based food consumption structure generates the most.The cultivated land footprints of Chinese residents' food consumption in 2030,2035 and 2050 are estimated to be 0.853,0.83 billion and 0.769 billion hm2 under the consumption scenarios recommended by the guidelines respectively,and the cultivated land footprint of food consumption in 2030,2035 and 2050 are projected to be 1.678 billion to 2.251 billion,1.648 billion to 2.211 billion and 1.512 billion to 2.029 billion hm2 under the animal-based food consumption scenario,respectively.Going forward,although China's population is projected to keep declining,urban expansion and continuing dietary upgrading will still impose intensive challenges on the sustainable cultivated land use.
