Progress of N6-methyladenosine modification in regulating the tu-mor immune microenvironment
N6-甲基腺苷(N6-methyladenosine,m6A)是 RNA 重要的内部化学修饰,参与 RNA 稳定性、蛋白质翻译和前体 mRNA 剪接等 RNA 代谢过程,影响多种生物学过程,并在肿瘤发生发展中发挥重要作用.肿瘤免疫微环境由多种免疫细胞、细胞因子、细胞外基质等组成,影响肿瘤的生长、转移及药物治疗响应.结合 m6A 修饰参与多种免疫调节的作用,本文从 m6A 修饰直接调控免疫细胞或间接影响免疫相关因子角度,系统阐述m6A 修饰与肿瘤免疫微环境之间的关联机制.
N6-methyladenosine(m6A),as the most prevalent and abundant RNA methylation modification,regulates RNA transcript stabilization,translation efficiency and pre-mRNA splicing and in-fluences several biological processes and plays mul-tiple roles in cancers.The tumor immune microen-vironment consists of a variety of immune cells,cy-tokines,extracellular matrix and other tissue-resi-dent cells that influence tumor growth,metastasis,and drug response.Based on the role of m6A modi-fication in the expression of various immune-relat-ed genes,this review provides a comprehensive un-derstanding of how m6A function in tumor immuni-ty by directly regulating different immune cells as well as indirectly modulating the secretion of im-mune-related factors.
