前庭康复治疗对前庭功能减退患者平衡能力及生活质量的影响OA

Objective To study the effects of vestibular rehabilitation on balance ability and quality of life in patients with vestibular hypofunction.Methods The study subjects were 98 patients with vestibular hypofunction admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to December 2024,who were assigned via a random number table method to a control group(n=49)and an observation group(n=49),receiving conventional therapy and vestibular rehabilitation therapy+conventional therapy,respectively.Comparisons were made between the two groups in terms of balance ability,balance confidence(ABC index),mental status(SAS score),pure-tone hearing threshold,quality of life(SF-36 score),and vertigo severity.Results The proportions of patients with good and excellent balance ability in the observation group were both higher than those in the control group,whereas the proportion of patients with poor balance ability was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05);after treatment,the ABC index and SF-36 score in both groups were higher than those before treatment,while the SAS score and pure-tone hearing threshold were lower than those before treatment,and the above-mentioned indexes in the observation group were all superior to those in the control group(P＜0.05);the proportion of patients with mild vertigo in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,while the proportions of patients with moderate and severe vertigo were both lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Vestibular rehabilitation therapy can effectively improve the balance ability and quality of life in patients with vestibular hypofunction,and exerts positive effects on enhancing balance confidence,alleviating anxiety status,improving hearing level and reducing the severity of vertigo.
