In order to ensure the sustainable development of agricultural production in Yumen City,this paper combines the management status of agricultural water-saving irrigation in Changma Irrigation District to formulate the main work content and stages of water-saving irrigation in the irrigation district for 2024,and summarizes past experience.It proposes strategies for improving water resource utilization efficiency,implementing intensive water resource management,and promoting water-saving irrigation technology in the construction and management of agricultural water-saving irrigation in irrigation areas.In addition,specific suggestions have been put forward for the improvement of policies and regulations,the upgrading of irrigation infrastructure,and the enhancement of farmers'awareness of water resource management.
