The siltation of some sections of the Longtai River basin is severe,and the aging of some projects in the basin has brought many hidden dangers.It is necessary to carry out governance of the Longtai River basin.The key to the operation of governance projects is the review of design floods.In order to clarify the engineering design standards,design flood calculation and analysis should be carried out to provide design basis for the construction of governance projects.This paper briefly describes the overview of the Longtai River Basin and analyzes several issues in the calculation of design floods,aiming to provide detailed data for the construction of governance projects.
