存在主义女性主义视域下莫里森小说中女性的觉醒与超越OACHSSCD

Taking Simone de Beauvoir's existentialist feminism as the theoretical framework,this paper makes a systematical analysis of the living predicaments and the trajectory of female self-consciousness awakening of black women in Toni Morrison's novels Beloved,Home and Sula.The black women depicted by Morrison are trapped in multiple shackles including racial discrimination,patriarchal oppression and physical objectification and are reduced to"the other"status revealed by Beauvoir.By dissecting the awakening process of characters such as Sethe,Cee and Sula,this paper expounds how black women gradually break external discipline and internal dependence and realize self-transcendence from"the other"to"the subject".
