To explore the impact mechanism of the establishment of logistics division on railway freight operation and establish a theoretical analysis framework for the reform of modern railway logistics system,through literature research,case analysis,and mechanism modeling,this paper systematically studied the functional paths of logistics division in three dimensions of market share expansion,resource allocation optimization,and value-added service creation and deeply analyzed its practical challenges including management system obstacles,talent shortage,and information technology lag.The results show that the logistics division effectively enhances market share through resource integration and synergy effect release;constructing a"closed-loop cycle"system of human,material,and financial resources optimizes resource allocation efficiency;value chain extension creates new economic growth points.The proposed strategies such as flexible budget adjustment,talent echelon construction,and digital-intelligent technology application have practical feasibility.Therefore,it provides theoretical support and decision-making reference for the deepening reform of the railway logistics division and the development of freight operation.
