The development and changes of science and technology are key dimensions for under-standing the construction of modernity in the revolutionary process.During the democratic revolu-tion,the scientific and technological practices led by the CPC were not only the material basis for the operation of the base areas and liberated areas,but also an important force in nurturing the modernization path of Chinese science and technology.In-depth exploration of the mutual con-struction logic between science and technology and revolution has significant historical and contem-porary significance.In recent years,the academic community has carried out fruitful analyses on this topic from aspects such as scientific and technological thought and policy,scientific and tech-nological practice and application fields,and the organization and system construction of science and technology,presenting a thriving research trend.However,upon closer examination,it is still felt that the path has been arduous.Currently,research in this area still needs further deepening and expansion in terms of the excavation and utilization of historical materials,the expansion of re-search objects,and the construction of multiple perspectives.
