桉蝙蛾5龄幼虫对白背桐树干挥发物的嗅觉和行为反应OA
Olfactory and behavioral responses of the fifth-instar larvae of Endoclita vietnamensis to volatiles from the trunk of Mallotus paniculatus
为明确桉蝙蛾Endoclita vietnamensis 5龄幼虫对白背桐Mallotus paniculatus树干挥发物的嗅觉识别机制,采用动态顶空吸附技术结合气相色谱-质谱法分析健康与受害白背桐树干挥发物成分,利用触角电位技术筛选萜烯类、芳香烃类等关键挥发性化合物,并通过Y型嗅觉仪测试幼虫对白背桐树干挥发物的选择行为反应.结果显示,受害白背桐树干挥发物对桉蝙蛾5龄幼虫具有显著引诱作用,其中甲基戊酮醇等化合物可引发强烈触角电位响应.研究结果揭示了白背桐挥发物与桉蝙蛾幼虫行为的复杂联系,为基于嗅觉干扰技术的害虫防控策略提供理论依据.
To elucidate the olfactory recognition mechanism of Endoclita vietnamensis fifth-instar larvae to volatiles from Mallotus paniculatus trunks,volatiles components of both healthy and damaged trunk of M.paniculatus were analyzed using dynamic headspace adsorption combined with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry(GC-MS).Key volatile compounds such as terpenes and aromatic hydrocarbons were screened via electroantennogram(EAG),and larval choice behavioral responses to volatiles from the trunk of M.paniculatus were validated using a Y-tube olfactometer.The results showed that volatiles from damaged M.paniculatus trunks significantly attracted the fifth-instar larvae of E.vietnamensis,with compounds such as methylpentanol alcohol eliciting strong antennal responses.Results revealed the complex relationship between M.paniculatus volatiles and larval behavior,providing a theoretical basis for developing pest control strategies based on olfactory interference.
