基于古代文献探讨明清医家辨治头痛思路OA

Headache is a condition characterized by a subjective sensation of pain in the head,primarily caused by tension or malnutrition of the cranial vessels.It can be either a concomitant symptom occurring during the course of other diseases or an independent disorder.The Ming and Qing Dynasties represent a peak period in the development of traditional Chinese medicine theory.By systematically reviewing the literature from the Ming and Qing Dynasties and exploring the thoughts of physicians during this period on the syndrome differentiation and treatment of headache,it is found that physi-cians in the Ming and Qing Dynasties largely inherit the theoretical understanding of previous generations when differentiat-ing and treating headaches.Combining this with their own knowledge and integrating theory with practice,they continuously innovate and form a systematic and standardized system for the syndrome differentiation and treatment of headache.Regard-ing etiology,physicians in the Ming and Qing Dynasties mostly believe it includes various pathogenic factors such as the six exogenous excesses,phlegm turbidity,blood stasis and dampness-heat.Regarding the understanding of pathogenesis,many physicians attribute it to the stagnation of Qi activity in the six meridians,dysfunction of the zang-fu organs or the dis-turbance of the clear orifices by turbid pathogens.Regarding syndrome differentiation,they propose multiple methods in-cluding six-meridian syndrome differentiation,meridian syndrome differentiation,zang-fu syndrome differentiation,and Qi,blood,and body fluids syndrome differentiation.Regarding treatment,they advocate the use of oral medications while also considering external therapies.Physicians in the Ming and Qing Dynasties advocate"seeking the cause for syndrome differentiation and applying treatment based on the syndrome",establishing a systematic and standardized diagnostic and therapeutic system for headache covering principles,methods,formulas and herbs,providing a rich theoretical basis for the syndrome differentiation and treatment of headache in later generations.
