Ministry of Education of China has deployed the in-depth implementation of the"Health First"policy,which requires the role of educational supervision come into play.This article points out that the current educational supervision system faces practical obstacles,such as"education department has integrated authority on management,operation,and evaluation",and"educational supervision department is a subordinate sector of the education department".In order to ensure that educational supervisors have effective accountability on urging schools to standardize their operation,and to build a healthy education ecosystem,deepening reform in the education field on"delegating power,improving regulation and upgrading services",and exploration on the"vertical management"of educational supervision are required.
