针对大学物理实验中金属线膨胀系数测定实验存在的问题,提出了一种基于LVDT位移传感器的金属线膨胀系数测量方法.利用LVDT位移传感器测量温度变化时金属棒的变形量;为使金属棒均匀受热,采用循环自吸泵对水浴进行循环加热;通过PID温控仪对金属棒的温度进行精确控制和测量,并绘制伸长量-温度的变化曲线.利用本文方法分别测量了铝棒与铁棒的线膨胀系数,结果表明该方法具有测量结果精确度高、相对误差小、操作简单等优点.

Aiming at the problems existing in the determination of the linear expansion coefficient of metals in university physics experiments,a measurement method based on an LVDT displacement sensor is proposed.The LVDT displacement sensor is used to measure the deformation of the metal rod during temperature changes.To ensure uniform heating of the metal rod,a circulating self-priming pump is employed for cyclic heating of the water bath.The temperature of the metal rod is precisely controlled and measured using a PID temperature controller,and a curve of elongation versus temperature is plotted.Using this method,the linear expansion coefficients of aluminum and iron rods were measured respectively.The results show that this method has advantages such as high measurement accuracy,small relative error and simple operation.
