Breeding and Characteristic Analysis of a New Three-Line Hybrid Rice Combination'Hexiangyou 1798'
本文介绍了三系杂交稻新组合"河香优1798"的选育过程与品种特性.该品种以优质种质为基础,采用三系法经十余年系统选育而成,于2023年通过广西审定.区域试验表明,"河香优1798"在桂中、桂北及桂南多数试点表现增产,且在高寒山区增产潜力突出.农艺性状上,其穗大粒多、生育期略早、结实率较高.稻米品质优异,多项指标达部标一级.但品种对白叶枯病抗性较弱,生产中需加强病害防控.适宜在广西多生态区作早、晚稻或一季中稻种植,并配套提出了栽培与制种技术要点.
This paper introduces the breeding process and varietal characteristics of the new three-line hybrid rice combination"Hexiangyou 1798".Based on high-quality germplasm,the variety was developed through systematic breeding using the three-line method over more than ten years,and was approved in Guangxi in 2023.Regional trials demonstrated that"Hexiangyou 1798"outyielded the check varieties at most test sites in central,northern,and southern Guangxi,with particularly prominent yield potential in high-altitude cold regions.Agronomically,it exhibits large panicles with high grain number,a slightly earlier growth duration,and relatively high seed-setting rate.The rice grain quality is excellent,with several key indices meeting the first-grade criteria of the Chinese Ministry standard.However,the variety shows weak resistance to bacterial leaf blight,so it is necessary to strengthen disease prevention and control in production.It is suitable for cultivation as early or late season rice as well as a single-season medium rice across multiple ecological regions of Guangxi,and corresponding cultivation and seed-production techniques are also provided.
