宁夏南华山草地造林对土壤质量的影响OA
Effect of grassland afforestation on soil quality in Nanhua Mountain,Ningxia
为探究山地草地造林的生态效益,明确造林年限对土壤质量的影响,以宁夏南华山自然保护区的不同年限青海云杉人工林(10,20,30 a造林)和天然草地为研究对象,调查了不同年限造林地0~40 cm土层中土壤理化性质以及土壤酶指标,并基于最小数据集(MDS)和土壤质量指数(SQI)对不同年限造林地的土壤质量进行综合评价.结果表明,造林地的土壤综合质量均高于天然草地,并随着造林年限的增加而显著提升;人工林地的土壤pH、氨态氮质量分数、碱性磷酸酶、碱性蛋白酶、过氧化氢酶、β-1,4-葡萄糖苷酶和蔗糖酶活性均高于天然草地;20 a造林地的全氮质量分数和土壤体积含水量最高,而10 a造林地的硝态氮质量分数最高;天然草地中脲酶的活性显著高于所有造林地.本研究为山地草地造林的生态效益提供了科学依据,表明造林活动能够有效改善土壤质量,促进生态系统功能的恢复和提升.
To investigate the ecological benefits of afforestation in mountainous grasslands and to clarify the impact of afforestation age on soil quality,this study examined the physicochemical properties and enzyme activities of the 0~40 cm soil layer in Qinghai spruce(Picea crassifolia)plantations of varying ages(10,20,and 30 years)and natural grassland within the Nanhua Mountain National Nature Reserve,Ningxia,China.It employed a minimum data set(MDS)and a soil quality index(SQI)to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of soil quality across different plantation ages.The results show that the overall soil quality in afforested areas is superior to that of natural grasslands and improves significantly with longer afforestation periods.Notably,soil pH,ammonia nitrogen content,alkaline phosphatase,alkaline protease,hydrogen peroxide,β-1,4-glucosinase,and sucras activities were higher in afforested areas compared to natural grasslands.Specifically,the 20-year afforestation site exhibited the highest total nitrogen and soil moisture content,while the 10-year site recorded the highest nitrate nitrogen content.Conversely,urease activity was significantly greater in natural grasslands than in all afforested sites.This study provides scientific evidence supporting the ecological benefits of grassland afforestation in mountainous regions,demonstrating that afforestation can effectively enhance soil quality and facilitate the recovery and improvement of ecosystem functions.
