Construction of Multi-Element Synergistic Patterns in The Old Summer Palace Driven by Spatial Semantic Networks

针对当前古典园林研究中客观物质环境与主体行为感知融贯知识系统的认知缺失,融合文本挖掘、层次聚类与空间分析等方法,基于乾隆年间圆明园的诗文、图档进行图谱建构、语义网络分析与模式提取.构建建筑、环境、行为与知觉四类要素的多维数据库;形成"诗词-空间"互证的技术路径;提取高影响力组团,揭示四类要素的耦合机制,构建典型"环境-建筑-行为-知觉"协同模式.破解了对潜藏于文本、图像历史资料中的物质空间信息与主体行为感知信息的分类、关联与表征的难题,为古典园林的空间认知与多源信息量化提供方法支撑.

This research employed a multi-modal approach that integrated textual,visual,and spatial evidence to address a cognitive gap in classical garden studies.The gap concerns a coherent knowledge system for the objective physical environment and subjective behavioral perception.The study used Python,MySQL,and Gephi to build an information atlas.The semantic network features were then analyzed,and the multidimensional element collaboration modes were extracted based on the poetry,prose,and pictorial archives of the Old Summer Palace during the Qianlong era.This step combined text mining,hierarchical clustering,and spatial analysis techniques.At the cognitive level,the study established a multidimensional database of the Old Summer Palace in the Qianlong era(covering buildings,environment,behaviors,and perception)by combining existing word segmentation technology and multi-modal character strings.The process included standardizing elements,resolving aliases,and extracting relationships.As a result,the overall cognition efficiency of the spatial pattern improved significantly. At the method level,a technical route of"poet-space"mutual verification was developed by combining spatial analysis,knowledge mapping,and social network analysis.At the application level,highly influential clusters were extracted from the poet-semantic network,disclosing the coupling mechanism of four distinct elements.In this way,a typical"environmental space-behavioral perception"collaboration model was built.The model overcame difficulties in classifying,associating,and characterizing the physical spatial information and subject perception data underlying historical texts and archives about classical gardens.This provides methodological support for the space cognition and multi-source information quantification of classical gardens. The following major conclusions could be drawn.1)The spatial semantic network of the Old Summer Palace exhibits a distinct hierarchical structure:environmental elements occupy the dominant role(39.19%),followed by perceptual experience(29.73%),behavioral activity(22.97%),and architectural elements(8.11%).This distribution reveals the bottom logic of space design in the Old Summer Palace,using the natural environment as the major carrier and perceptual experience as the core pursuit.According to the semantic orientation of high-frequency vocabularies,the overall spatial character of the Old Summer Palace bears distinct aesthetic traits.These create poetic scenes of"subtle,distant,sparse,and airy"based on natural imagery such as"wind,moon,water,and mist,"while pursuing the introspective perceptual experiences characteristic of"quietness,clarity,and delight."According to the behavioral semantic analysis,the spaces of the Old Summer Palace cater to aesthetic daily activities,including"roaming,contemplation,and reading,"rather than formal political ceremonial functions.2)The key mode extraction and trans-mode comparison revealed that at the whole-garden scale,environmental elements,including"rain,clouds,mountains,and trees,"form a stable cross-scene semantic framework.Behaviors and perceptions were produced using this framework and organized by the building interface.This study recognized the high-frequency"overlapping sub-modes"from mode differentiation.These can be viewed as a generative grammar that can be described by rules.Differences are manifested by fluctuations in the"weight"of elements in different modes.Moreover,temporal sequences and meteorological conditions form latent control variables. This study reveals the core logic of the"environmental space-behavioral perception"synergy of the Old Summer Palace.Using the multidimensional element database of the Old Summer Palace from the Qianlong era,it reviewed the spatial features of the garden,recognized highly influential clusters,and disclosed the coupling mechanism of four types of elements.In this way,it laid a methodological foundation to facilitate classical garden restoration from simple physical form rebuilding to comprehensive reconstruction based on"cognition-context-grammar."Hence,the research conclusions offer feasible strategies and quantification tools for heritage protection,exhibition design,and digital twin operations.
