"Maintaining a global vision"constitutes one of the core worldviews and methodologies in Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era.Examining its developmental logic,this concept builds upon Marxism's ideal of"seeking liberation for humanity",integrates the spiritual essence of"global unity"from China's rich cultural heritage,and carries forward the Communist Party of China's mission to"pursue common prosperity worldwide".The essence of maintaining a global vision can be divided into three levels:on the fundamental standpoint,"standing on the correct side of history and on the side of hu-man progress";in the fundamental method,"addressing common challenges faced by humanity";in terms of goals and directions,"promoting the building of a global community with shared future".Facing profound changes on a scale unseen in a century and the overall strategic planning of the great rejuvenation of the Chi-nese nation,we must put into practice the worldview and methodology of maintaining a global vision.We must implement the Global Development Initiative,the Global Security Initiative,the Global Civilization Ini-tiative,and the Global Governance Initiative to achieve win-win and shared development,safeguard world peace and stability,promote the progress of human civilization,and defend international fairness and justice.
