Represented by the China Democratic National Construction Association,the democratic par-ties not only jointly established the People's Republic of China under the leadership of the Communist Party of China after the victory of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression,made significant contributions to the socialist revolution,construction,and reform,but also successfully transformed from parties primarily rooted in the national bourgeoisie into socialist participating parties and ultimately into participating parties in socialism with Chinese characteristics.Today,the democratic parties have become an important force in realiz-ing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and advancing the lofty cause of promoting peace and develop-ment for mankind.The year 2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the founding of the China Democratic Nation-al Construction Association.We can conduct an in-depth review of its 80-year history,particularly focusing on its self-development since transitioning into a socialist participating political party,by prioritizing six key ar-eas:ideology,politics,organization,conduct,systems,and capabilities.This review should encompass the fol-lowing specific aspects:Maintain political steadfastness with high theoretical clarity,strive to foster a clean and upright political environment,employ multiple measures to fully mobilize the enthusiasm and creativity of all sectors,leading officials should set an example by striving to achieve excellent conduct and strong compe-tence,strengthen long-term mechanisms across multiple domains to build an institutional framework,and strive to make significant contributions in political participation and deliberation,truly becoming the Communist Party of China's trusted advisor,reliable assistant,and valued colleague.In this way,we can endeavor to achieve theo-retical clarity,political steadfastness,organizational consolidation,exemplary conduct,sound systems,and excep-tional competencies.
