内、外后侧联合入路内固定治疗三踝骨折OA

Objective To explore the efficacy of combined medial and posterolateral approaches internal fixation for treatment of the trimalleolar fracture.Methods The 32 patients of trimalleolar fractures were treated with internal fix-ation using combined medial and posterolateral approaches.The fracture reduction and healing conditions,as well as the occurrence of complications were recorded.The clinical efficacy was evaluated using the AOFAS ankle-hindfoot scoring system.Results All patients were followed up for 6-10 months.The fracture reduction was satisfactory,and no flap necrosis,infection,or other complications occurred.Two cases of sural nerve contusion caused lateral numbness of the foot,but no special treatment was given,and the numbness recovered at 1 month after surgery.The fractures healed within 3-6 months.Six months after surgery,X-ray film examinations showed no internal fixation fracture or loosening;according to the AOFAS ankle-hindfoot scoring system,the therapeutic effect was excellent in 25 cases,good in5 cases,and fair2 cases,with an excellent and good rate of 93.75%.Conclusions The combined medial and posterolateral approaches for internal fixation of trimalleolar fracture has the advantages of satisfactory fracture re-duction,fewer postoperative complications,and satisfactory clinical efficacy.
