The inheritance of professional culture under the guidance of the Chinese cultural lineage necessitates both rooting in cultural genes and shaping unique identifiers.Taking the"Three Books"published in 2025 by Academician MA Guoxin of the Chinese Academy of Engineering as a starting point,this article elucidates his insights into the academic traditions and extensive knowledge of preceding master designers and distinguished scholars.These works also attest to his diligent cultivation across diverse thematic areas.The author expresses admiration for his spirit of using blood as ink,years as the pen,and establishing discourse through writing.In documenting the"events and people"of the design industry,Academician MA Guoxin,through his consistent practice of inheriting conceptual lineages,demonstrates profound consideration for fostering heritage consciousness within Chinese architecture.This article also integrates the author's reflections and understanding gained from over two decades of following Academician MA's work.
