Thermosetting flame-retardant polymers are highly valued in building engineering due to their excellent fire resistance,mechanical properties,and high-temperature stability.This paper reviews the research progress of thermosetting flame-retardant polymers used in building engineering,elaborating on the performance characteristics,flame-retardant mechanisms,and applications of common thermosetting flame-retardant polymers such as epoxy resin,phenolic resin,and unsaturated polyester resin in building components.It also analyzes the existing problems in current research and provides insights into future development directions,aiming to offer theoretical and practical guidance for the rational selection of thermosetting flame-retardant polymers in building engineering.
