Digital ecological civilization construction constitutes a pivotal pathway for advancing harmoni-ous coexistence between humanity and nature and achieving high-quality economic development within the context of Chinese-style modernization.As a contemporary articulation of Marxist perspectives on na-ture and technology,digital ecological civilization is deeply rooted in the historical experience of ecologi-cal governance under the leadership of the Communist Party of China and has emerged from the global transformative trend characterized by the deep integration of digitalization and greening.Its operational mechanism manifests through three interrelated pathways by which digital technologies address core con-tradictions in ecological governance:deploying holistic information platforms to resolve the"epistemic challenge"concerning ecological elements;establishing multi-stakeholder collaborative networks to o-vercome the"fragmentation"inherent in traditional governance structures;and fostering broad-based public participation to drive the endogenous evolution of ecological civilizational values.By profoundly en-gaging with the concrete contradictions confronting Chinese path to modernization,digital ecological civili-zation demonstrates multidimensional theoretical,practical,and normative value in advancing harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature.
