Study on the Process of Preparing Concentrated Sugarcane Juice Using Chitosan Clarification and Forward Osmosis Technology

旨在开发一种高效、低能耗的甘蔗浓缩汁清洁制备工艺.以壳聚糖为澄清剂对甘蔗汁进行处理,通过单因素与响应面实验优化澄清工艺参数.采用正向渗透(FO)膜技术对所得清汁进行浓缩,并比较了不同汲取液(NaCl、CaCl2、葡萄糖酸钠)的浓缩效能.结果表明,最佳澄清条件为:壳聚糖溶液pH 3.60、水浴温度 53.0℃、水浴时间 26 min,此条件下甘蔗清汁透光率达 82.47%,浊度为 64 NTU.在正向渗透浓缩阶段,使用CaCl2 作为汲取液效果最佳,可将甘蔗汁快速浓缩至 58.3 °Bx.基于壳聚糖澄清与正向渗透技术的联用工艺能有效制备高浓度甘蔗汁,为产业提供了节能环保的潜在新途径.

This study aimed to develop an efficient,low-energy,and clean production process for concentrated sugarcane juice.Chitosan was used as a clarifying agent to treat mixed sugarcane juice,and the clarification process parameters were optimized through single-factor and response surface methodology experiments.The clarified juice was then concentrated using forward osmosis(FO)membrane technology,and the concentration efficiencies of different draw solutions(NaCl,CaCl2,and sodium gluconate)were compared.The results showed that the optimal clarification conditions were as follows:chitosan solution pH of 3.60,water bath temperature of 53.0℃,and water bath time of 26 min.Under these conditions,the transmittance of the clarified sugarcane juice reached 82.47%with a turbidity of 64 NTU.In the forward osmosis concentration stage,CaCl2 as the draw solution provided the best performance,enabling rapid concentration of the sugarcane juice to 58.3 °Bx.The integrated process combining chitosan clarification and forward osmosis technology proved effective in producing high-concentration sugarcane juice,offering a potential energy-saving and environmentally friendly approach for the industry.
