为解决MgO粉末与有机基质结合时出现不相容、分散性差、流动性差、容易团聚等问题,采用机械力化学协同有机改性的方法,通过混合和球磨对轻烧MgO粉末进行处理,研究了改性剂种类、改性时间、改性剂用量对MgO粉末微观结构、亲油化度、活化指数、液体石蜡悬浮液粘度的影响.结果表明:月桂酸钠、硬脂酸钠和钛酸酯偶联剂TCA-KTTT这三种有机改性剂都能够对粉末有效改性,其中经硬脂酸钠改性后的MgO粉末综合性能更好.当以硬脂酸钠为改性剂时,改性后MgO粉末表面包覆着碎屑状物质,傅立叶变换红外光谱分析证实了直链烷基在表面的有效吸附.在最佳条件下(硬脂酸钠为改性剂,质量分数为7%,改性时间5h),改性后的MgO粉末亲油化度为36.1%,活化指数为96.4%,石蜡悬浮液粘度为3270 mPa·s.与未改性粉末相比,改性粉末表现出更好的有机相容性.

To address the incompatibility,poor dispersion,poor fluidity,and easy agglomeration in the combination of magnesium oxide powders and organic matrix,the light-burned magnesium oxides were treated by mechanochemical synergistic organic modification method through mixing and ball milling.The effects of modifier type,modification time,and modifier amount on the microstructure,lipophilic degree,activation index,and liquid paraffin suspension viscosity of the magnesium oxides were studied.The results show that the organic modifying agents(sodium laurate,sodium stearate,and titanium acid ester coupling agent TCA-KTTT)can all effectively modify the powders,and the MgO powders modified by sodium stearate have the better comprehensive performance.The sodium stearate modified MgO powders are coated with crumbly substances,and the Fourier transform infrared spectrum analysis confirms the effective adsorption of straight-chain alkyl groups on the surface.Under the optimal conditions(the modifier is sodium stearate with the mass fraction of 7%and the modification time is 5 h),the magnesium oxide products exhibit the lipophilic degree of 36.1%,activation index of 96.4%,and paraffin suspension viscosity of 3270 mPa·s.Furthermore,the modified powders demonstrate the improved organic compatibility,compared to the unmodified powders.
