Simulation and Application of CIC Filter in Digital Baseband Software of Continuous Wave Speed Radar
首先对降速滤波理论进行分析,根据CIC滤波器原理设计了适用于连续波测速雷达硬件实现的CIC滤波器,并采用仿真软件设计了普通FIR滤波器和CIC滤波器,对两者降速滤波效果进行比对.从输出频谱结果可见,等效冲激响应长度匹配的情况下,CIC滤波器比普通FIR滤波器更高效,能够节约计算量,滤波效果更优.
This paper analyzes the theory of decimation filtering and designs a CIC filter suitable for hardware implementation in continuous wave speed radar based on the principle of CIC filte-ring.Using various tools,both a conventional FIR filter and a CIC filter are designed to compare their decimation filtering effects.It can be seen from the output spectrum that,with the same e-quivalent impulse response length,the CIC filter is more efficient than the ordinary FIR filter,which can save computation and achieve better filtering performance.
