华北克拉通北缘下白垩统张家口组A型流纹岩的发现及地质意义OA
Discovery of A-type rhyolite in the Lower Cretaceous Zhangjiakou Formation at the northern margin of the North China Craton and its geological significance
前人对华北克拉通北缘张家口组火山岩所处的构造环境尚存在分歧,且未对火山岩与华北克拉通破坏之间的联系开展详细研究.笔者首次发现冀北张家口地区张家口组上部存在A型流纹岩,并对其开展地质学、岩石学、年代学及地球化学等方面的研究,就其岩石成因及形成环境进行深入探讨.该流纹岩锆石LA-ICP-MS U-Pb年龄为138.4±1.3 Ma(n=30,MSWD=0.84),显示其形成时代为早白垩世.同时,具有富硅(SiO2=69.94%~73.35%)、富碱(Na2O+K2O=10.13%~10.71%),贫 Mg、Ca、Sr、TiO2,高 Ga/Al 比值等地球化学特征.我们推测其属于A1型花岗岩类,形成于高温低压的板内拉张环境,是由减薄的长英质中下地壳部分熔融所形成.结合前人研究结果,认为张家口组顶部A型流纹岩是冀北地区华北克拉通构造体制转变的地质响应,代表了华北克拉通破坏的开始.
Previous studies have shown divergent views on the tectonic setting of the volcanic rocks in the Zhangjiakou Formation,and detailed research on the relationship between these volcanic rocks and the destruction of the North China Craton(NCC)has not been conducted.In this study,we conducted comprehensive geological,petrological,geochronological,and geochemical investigations on the A-type rhyolites discovered for the first time in the upper Zhangjiakou Formation in the Zhangjiakou area,and further analyzed their petrogenesis and formation environment.LA-ICP-MS zircon U-Pb dating yielded an age of 138.4±1.3 Ma(n=30,MSWD=0.84),indicating an Early Cretaceous formation.The rocks are characterized by high silica(SiO2=69.94%~73.35%),high alkalinity(Na2O+K2O=10.13%~10.71%),low contents of MgO,CaO,TiO2,and high Ga/Al ratios.The rhyolites at the top of the Zhangjiakou Formation belong to the A1-type granites.They were formed in a high-temperature,low-pressure intraplate extensional environment,and originated from the partial melting of a thinned felsic middle to lower crust.Based on previous research findings,it is proposed that the A-type rhyolite at the top of the Zhangjiakou Formation represents a geological response to the tectonic regime transition of the North China Craton in northern Hebei,marking the onset of the destruction of the North China Craton.
