Role of Chinese Medicine in Addressing Myocardial Ischemia Reperfusion Injury:A Comprehensive ReviewOA
Ischemic heart disease is a common and frequently-occurring disease in clinic.Reperfusion is the key and effective mean to rescue ischemic myocardium in time,and effective and timely restoration of blood perfusion is the key measure to reduce ischemic myocardial injury.1 However,after blood flow is restored to the ischemic myocardium,further damage to the ischemic heart tissue may occur,resulting in myocardial ischemia reperfusion injury(MIRI).Taking effective measures to prevent the occurrence of MIRI or reduce its damage has gradually become a hot issue in recent years,and it is also a great challenge for doctors and patients.
