陕西省动物诊疗机构发展现状与思考OA

Animal health and public health security are affected by the level of veterinary medical institutions.In order to assess the status of such institutions in Shaanxi Province,and thereby to standardize the industry,their conditions were systematically sorted out using methods such as literature review,statistics of registration data and on-site investigation.There were currently 701 institutions in the province,most of them were located in Xi'an,accounting for 62.48％;the business area was 121-250 m2 for most animal hospitals(58.47％),and below 200 m2 for most animal clinics(92.26％);for animal hospitals,the equipment availability rate exceeded 80.00％for diagnostic equipment,over 70.00％for imaging equipment,and reached 85.94％and 50.80％for anesthesia machines and electrocardiographs,respectively.In contrast,the corresponding availability rate in animal clinics was lower,ranging from 30.00％to 66.75％.There were a total of 1 624 licensed veterinarians registered in the province,1 101 and 523 working in animal hospitals and clinics,respectively,1.91％with a master's degree or above,31.47％with a bachelor's degree,and 66.63％with an associate degree.In the industry,a policy and regulatory system with coordination at province level and refinement at municipal level was essentially formed,although there were prominent shortcomings,such as uneven regional distribution of institutions,inadequate allocation of diagnostic equipment,low educational level of licensed veterinarians,lack of common standards for services and pricing,and incomplete regulatory system.Based on the status and shortcomings described as above,targeted recommendations were proposed in areas such as optimizing regional distribution,diagnostic equipment allocation and training,establishing guidelines for pricing,and strengthening the implementation of standards,aiming to provide a reference for the standardized development of the industry.
