Career education in Chinese universities has long been constrained by Western theoretical frameworks,rendering localized transformation and systemic reconstruction critically imperative.As an essential embodiment of traditional Chinese cul-ture,traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)embodies unique philosophical perspectives and cognitive models-such as holism,dy-namic equilibrium,and dialectical thinking-that offer distinctive cultural resources and methodological foundations for address-ing current challenges in career education.Centered on enhancing career education for medical students through TCM culture,this study systematically synthesizes career wisdom inherent in TCM philosophy,including its core notions of holism,balance,and dialectics.Building on this foundation,the paper further formulates career planning principles rooted in TCM,such as"preventive treatment"and"considering factors of seasons,environment and body constitution in treating diseases"and expounds on the practi-cal pathways for applying TCM's health-preservation wisdom in career development.The research aims to drive the transforma-tion of career education toward dynamic balance,proactive prevention,and localized innovation,thereby providing support for the development of a career education system with Chinese characteristics and contributing to the cultivation of high-quality TCM professionals.
