Review on traditional Chinese medicine pills formulations
中药丸剂作为中医药经典固体制剂,因便捷服用、药效持久等优势,在慢性病治疗中广泛应用.近年来,随着现代科技与传统制药理念的深度融合,丸剂在生产技术、工艺优化、质量控制等方面取得显著进展.在生产技术与制备工艺方面,现代提取浓缩、智能粉碎混合、新型辅料应用以及微丸、滴丸等成型技术提升了丸剂的均匀性、稳定性和生产效率;真空脉动干燥、微波干燥及缓控释包衣等新技术进一步优化了丸剂的物理性质与释放性能.在质量控制方面,从单一成分测定研究转向多指标综合评价,指纹图谱、质量标志物、生物指纹图谱及中药对照制剂等整体性评价方法为丸剂的质量一致性提供了科学支撑.然而,丸剂的现代化发展仍面临一些挑战.丸剂的制备涉及多药材配伍与复杂工艺,还需进一步完善质量控制体系,以提升丸剂的质量均一性;还应加强多学科协同创新,结合粉体工程、智能制造优化工艺等进行跨学科系统攻关,采用缓控释、多层制剂、智能响应等技术,以推动中药丸剂向精准化、智能化发展.
As a classic solid dosage form in traditional Chinese medicine,traditional Chinese medicine pills are widely used in the treatment of chronic diseases due to their advantages of convenient administration and long-lasting efficacy.The significant progress had been made in production technology,process optimization,and quality control with the deep integration of modern technology and traditional pharmaceutical concepts.In terms of production technology and preparation processes,modern extraction and concentration,intelligent grinding and mixing,the application of new excipients,and the development of micro-pellet and drop-pellet forming technologies had enhanced the uniformity,stability,and production efficiency of pills.New technologies such as vacuum pulsating drying,microwave drying,and controlled-release coating had further optimized the physical properties and release performanceof pills. In quality control,research had shifted from single-component determination to comprehensive evaluation ofmultiple indicators. Holistic evaluation methods such as fingerprint chromatography,quality markers,biologicalfingerprint chromatography,and reference preparations of traditional Chinese medicine provide scientific support forquality consistency. The modernization of Chinese herbal pills still faces some challenges. The preparation of pillsinvolves the compatibility of multiple herbs and complex processes,and the quality control system still needs to befurther improved to enhance the uniformity of pill quality. It is necessary to strengthen multi-disciplinary collaborativeinnovation,conduct cross-disciplinary systematic research by integrating powder engineering and intelligent manufacturingto optimize processes,and adopt technologies such as controlled-release,multi-layer formulations,and intelligentresponses to promote the development of Chinese herbal pills towards precision and intelligence.
