Edwardsiellosis,caused by the bacterium Edwardsiella tarda,is a bacterial disease caused by a zoonotic pathogen widely found in both freshwater and marine aquaculture environments.It has caused significant economic losses to China's aquaculture industry and poses a biosecurity threat,being classified as a category III aquatic animal disease in China.With the successful development of artificial breeding for Bahaba taipingensis,the scale of its cultivation is expected to expand,making this disease a potential threat that demands urgent prevention in the process of industrialization.This paper comprehensively analyzes the pathogenic biological characteristics,epidemiology,and pathogenesis of E.tarda disease in B.taipingensis,based on its typical clinical symptoms.It further proposes a systematic solution integrating refined management,ecological regulation,and standardized medication.The aim is to provide direct and efficient technical guidance for practitioners,ensuring the healthy and sustainable development of B.taipingensis farming industry.
